The A12 motorway passes nearby, giving easy access to Fribourg, Berne, Montreux, Vevey, Lausanne and Geneva. There are countless places to visit, such as the famous village of Gruyères, and mountain resorts well known for both ski-ing and hiking (such as Charmey, 20 minutes from here, or Chateau d’Oex and Gstaad in the Bernese Oberland, less than an hour away).
